An opening ceremony of the Hainan Bohai Boxing Club was held on December 18th, marking Hainan’s largest boxing training base to settle down in Haikou.

 

The boxing training base covers more than 1,600 square meters, featuring a boxing training area, a kickboxing training area and a Thai boxing training area.

 

The base has also been recognized as an international boxing training base and competition site by the China Boxing Club Union (CBCU), the International Boxing Union (IBF) and the World Boxing Council (WBC).

 

On December 27th, the opening game of the China Boxing Club Union Championship Series will be held at the Hainan Bohai Boxing Club, attracting many professional boxers from different countries and regions including the Philippines, Russia, Kazakhstan and China.

 

According to the report, the CBCU Series is authorized by the International Boxing Union (IBF) and the World Boxing Council (WBC) and will have 17 competitions to crown men's and women's boxing championships of each grade in Hainan.
