China Southern Airlines added a 29th stationed aircraft to its base in Hainan on December 3rd.
 
The new Hainan-based aircraft will bring in an estimated 5 million yuan in flight tax revenue to the island and transport 130,000 passengers in and out the island annually.
 
During the winter & spring flight schedule, the airline company is planning to operate 20,770 aircraft movements from Hainan to other destinations, providing 12,000 seats daily in and out of Hainan.
 
By 2020, China Southern Airlines’s fleet of planes based in Hainan is expected to reach 40.
