Wanning to embrace 2014-15 int’l surfing season from November
According to the Wanning Municipal Government, the city of Wanning is preparing to welcome its surfing season from early November 2014 to mid-January 2015.
A series of surfing competition events are scheduled during the period, including the 7th O’Neill Surfing Hainan Open, the ISA China Cup, the Men’s 4-star ASP Qualifying Series, the 2015 ASP Women’s Shortboard Championship and the 2015 “X-Sories“ Jalenboo Surfing Youth Open.
In December, the World Surf Cities Forum will be held in Wanning. Government representatives from Hawaii, Australia’s Gold Coast, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, as well as surf-related enterprises, will gather in Wanning to share their insights on the development of the surfing industry in China and across the world
