According to the statistics released by the Hainan Tourism Bureau, the island received a total of 28 million tourists in the first 9 months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%.

Meanwhile, statistics showed that the tourism revenue from January to September reached 311.12 million yuan, an increase of 13.3% year-on-year.

This year, the island’s cities and counties made greater efforts to promote their local tourism brand image in mainland cities.

A batch of new tourist attractions have opened to the public, namely, Sanya Romance Park, Haikou Feng Xiaogang Movie Town and Haikou Mangrove Tree Rural Tourist Zone, to offer more holiday entertainment options to visitors.
