2nd Hainan Bird Watching Festival to be held in Haikou in November

Dongzhai Port Natural Reserve is called a ‘heaven for birds’. About 159 species of birds inhabit the reserve, including many rare migratory birds.

A series of themed activities will be held during the festival including a bird-watching game, a wildlife photography exhibition and public leisure sightseeing of wild birds.

The local government has called for all institutions and the public to pay greater attention to the natural reserve and to the annual Festival, so that each and every one of us can contribute in our own way to wetland and ecological protection.
