Conceptual design of Sanya Phoenix Airport Station on the Hainan Western Ring Railway
 
On August 25th, China Railway Construction Group Co. Ltd (Hainan Branch) won the bidding (Section XHZH-3) on the Hainan Western Ring Railway Project, with a winning price of 26 million yuan.

Section XHZH-3 covers the construction of 7 railway stations with a total area of 25,000 square meters, including Dongfang Station, Banqiao Station, Huangliu Station, Jianfeng Station, Ledong Station, Yacheng Station and Sanya Phoenix Airport Station.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.

The Hainan Western Ring Railway will stretch 345 km and pass through 17 stations along the island’s western coast. Upon its completion, the rail line will link up with the Eastern Ring Railway and form a circuit around the island.
