Turnover on high-end hotels in Hainan increases 11.6% in July
The business turnover at high-end hotels in Hainan reached 366 million yuan in July, showing a year-on-year increase of 11.6%, which is 12.3% higher than that of the previous year, according to the Hainan Statistics Bureau.
A total of 86 four-star hotels or above are included in the statistics.
Starting from July, many high-end hotels have been providing a variety of promotional packages and special tourism products for family tourists.
In July, after typhoon Rammasun seriously damaged power and water supplies in Haikou, many local residents in and around Haikou chose to stay at the hotels, which caused a boom in hotel occupancy at that time.
