A pricing regulation system will be implemented by the Hainan government to regulate the A-level scenic spots across the island.

According to the plan, all A-level scenic spots in Hainan will be required to display their ticket admissions prices on electronic screens and strictly implement the pricing standards released by the local government.

Besides, the price electronic screens are required to be set up in a prominent and clearly visible location, showing the detailed pricing information for individual tourists and group tourists as well as preferential prices for seniors, children and military.

Meanwhile, the total area designed for shopping and commercial purposes within the scenic spots will not be allowed to be larger than the sightseeing area.

A quality standard system will be set up to regulate these shopping sites. Any shopping sites within the scenic spots failing to obey the new rules will face business suspension and the possibility of punishment under the law.
