Hainan has introduced a rating system for travel agents across the island.

A grading administration will be introduced to assess the quality of services and management of the travel agents in Hainan, which will be graded into three levels: 3A, 4A and 5A.

The rating system is meant to help consumers save time and money – not only the time used for travel, but also the time used on finding the right travel agents.

The first batch of qualified travel agents will be released at the end of this year.
