China Southern Airlines bases 3 additional aircraft in Hainan in Aug
China Southern Airlines plans to bring 3 new aircrafts to Hainan this August, bringing their total fleet based in Hainan to 28 airplanes.
In order to make travel to and from Hainan more convenient, China Southern Airlines has launched new operation plans. Apart from the existing aircraft based in the city, the carrier will also launch regular flights between Qingdao and Haikou.
The 3 new aircraft are expected to transport more 900,000 passengers in and out the island annually.
During the summer vacation, the airline company is planning to operate 6,000 flights from Hainan to other destinations. About 1.7 million passengers are expected to be transported in and out of the island during the summer period
