Hainan Eastern Ring Railway resumes on July 21 after typhoon
The Hainan Eastern Ring High-speed Railway resumed operation on July 21st after 3 days of suspension caused by Typhoon Rammasun.
The Haikou-bound D7322 bullet train departed at 12:13pm at Sanya Railway Station after a 2-day rail repair period.
The facilities at the Meilan Railway Station were severely damaged in the typhoon and the station is still not back in service.
Besides, bullet trains on some railway sections have lowered their normal operating speeds due to ongoing safety concerns
