Hainan Airlines’s 7th Boeing 787 arrives at Haikou Meilan Int’l Airport

On May 31st, a new Boeing 787 Dreamliner produced for Hainan Airlines landed at Haikou Meilan International Airport.
It is the 7th Boeing 787 that has joined its fleet. The new arrival brings its fleet size to more than 500 aircraft, accelerating its fleet expansion and capacity growth.
Currently, Hainan Airlines has operated its 787 Dreamliners on long-haul international flights to Chicago, Seattle and other North American destinations.
On June 20th, Hainan Airlines will open direct air routes between Beijing and Boston.
The airline reported it made a net profit of 2.105 billion yuan in 2013, with a 9.2% year-on-year increase. Its capacity and fleet size have been expanded steadily to satisfy the demand of the domestic and international civil aviation market.
