2014 3rd ‘Fushan Cup’ Int’l Barista Championship kicks off in Chengmai
The 2014 3rd ‘Fushan Cup’ Int’l Barista Championship kicked off Thursday morning at Fushan Coffee Culture & Romance Town in Chengmai County, as part of the activities in celebration of the 12th Hainan Yingbin Dragon Water Festival.
25 top baristas from 12 different countries such as Australia, Canada, Ecuador, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and China’s Hong Kong and Taiwan competed for the championship title.
At present it is the highest-level barista competition in China. This year’s competition has grown in both scale and influence continuously as the number of visitors and exhibitors from great companies and brands increased impressively.
Hainan has already produced some nationally-known coffee brands, including Fu Shan and Xing Long. The intention of the event is to draw the public’s attention to the delicious Fushan coffee and promote China’s coffee culture
