The Women's Federation of Wuzhishan City, in south China's Hainan Province, paid a visit on May 17 to the Central Primary School in Tongshi Town, bringing scholastic necessities like desks and chairs, bags, watches, and toys to students from needy families.

This activity was designed to lead up to International Children's Day. It aims to promote the concept of charity to help the needy, orphans and left-behind children to have a lovely Children's Day. 'Left-behind children' refers to children whose parents have left their homes to seek better paying jobs in cities.
