Hainan officials visit demonstration bases to promote local agriculture

Since March, the Hainan Women’s Federation has carried out an investigation into the creation and management of National Women’s Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Bases in south China’s Hainan Province.
Fu Caixiang, vice president of Hainan Women’s Federation, visited a fish farm and processing plant in Danzhou City, Hainan Province, on April 11, 2014.
Fu’s group also visited a Pineapple Cultivation Technology Integration Base in Tunchang County.
Fu emphasized that the base should be maintained and managed according to guidance from the National Women’s Modern Agriculture Science and Technology Demonstration Base, which helps women in local collectives with poverty alleviation.
