Qionghai issues pricing regulations on hotel rooms for 13th BFA 2014
The Qionghai government issued pricing regulations on hotel room rates for the 13th Annual Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) 2014 which will be held in Bo'ao Town of Qionghai city from April 8 to 11.
All hotels for tourists are required to keep their pricing levels on par with those of the 2013 BFA. Newly established hotels have to set hotel room rates based on their own conditions.
Hotels found violating the regulations will be fined between 100,000 and 1 million yuan, or even up to 5 million yuan. In the most serious cases, they will also be ordered to stop operations for corrections according to the relevant punishment regulations.
Prices of hotel rooms must be marked clearly and be consistent with the declared prices. Any operators found violating the regulations will be ordered to stop operations for corrections.
