2014 National Mountain Bike Championship kicks off in Hainan’s Tunchang
The 2014 National Mountain Bike Championship kicked off at Muse Lake Scenic Spot in Tunchang Hainan on 8th March.
According to the organizers, the first phase of the 4-day tournament took place on March 8-9 and the second phase will be held between March 13 and 14.
The tournament consists of challenge races and timed races, each with a men’s and a women’s division, as well as an amateur race.
Nearly 100 bicycle athletes representing 10 teams from across China have been attracted to take part in the top-level event.
Since 2007, the tournament has been held in Tunchang for a total of 8 consecutive years
