The 2014 China PGA Championship Tour (Hainan Stop) kicked off on February 24th at the BFA International Convention Golf Club.

The golf event has attracted more than 150 golf players from home and abroad to compete for the grand prize of US$200,000.

On February 26th, the Pro-am event, which featured the top 30 players of the 2013 China Golf Association professional golfer ranking and 90 amateurs, provided a good chance for newer professionals to kick-start their careers and an opportunity for veterans to reach the next level.

Started in 2010, the China PGA Championship Tour, hosted by the China Golf Association, is the top level professional tour in China
