Hainan has seen a sharp decrease in tourism price complaints, successfully handling 40 tourist complaint cases from January 31 to February 7, 2014.

Complaints cases that the Hainan tourist complaint hotline 12358 received included 12 restaurants complaints, 5 tourist attraction complaints, 4 hotel complaints and 5 transportation complaints.

To ensure the quality of the tourism market during the holiday, the Sanya Price Control Bureau has strengthened its supervision over 500 seafood restaurants, 395 fruit stalls, 225 hotels, 65 shopping sites, 16 scenic spots, 12 diving spots and 6 wholesale markets.

In the holiday inspection campaign in Haikou, 19 shops that were found to have failed to follow pricing regulations were ordered to suspend their business for improvement time.
