Press conference for ‘Coral Palace Cup’ China (Lingshui) International Challenge 2014 was held in Lingshui on Jan.20.
 
The ‘Coral Palace Cup’ China (Lingshui) International Challenge 2014 is set to be held from February 11th to the 16th at the Agile Gymnasium at the Lingshui Culture and Sports Square in Lingshui County.

The 6-day tournament brings together the top 150 individuals or pairs in each category – men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles with US $50,000 at stake in total cash prizes.

The badminton competition is one of the IBF series events sponsored by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Lingshui has been the host of this badminton event for 4 consecutive years.

It will be Lingshui’s first opportunity to host the international badminton championship and the event is expected to boost the city’s international tourism image.
