According to China Southern Airlines Hainan Branch Company, China Southern Airlines carried a total of 5.63 million passengers to Hainan in the year of 2013, and will put 7 new airbus planes into the Hainan market in 2014. 

Wang Zhen, General Manager of China Southern Airlines Hainan Branch, said that China Southern Airlines will further strengthen the cooperation with Hainan, which has attracted much attention as an international tourism destination, in addition to register 7 new planes in Hainan, more new routes to and from the tropical island will be added.

A total of 6 new planes entered the Hainan market via China Southern Airlines in 2013, and the 7 new planes which will be registered in Hainan include one Airbus A320 and six Airbus A321 with sumptuous first-class cabins and high-end economy-class cabins.

The flights from Hainan to many major Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will be increased in 2014.
