Hainan Airlines to launch Beijing- Bali direct flights starting 15 Jan, 2014
Using Boeing 767-300 ER aircraft with a capacity for 223 passengers, the Bali flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Beijing-Bali will take 7.5 hours, the shortest time from northern China to Bali.
Hainan Airlines and Caissa Touristic offer unique packages for Chinese tourists to Bali, not only to enjoy the island’s fantastic beaches but , moreover, to experience the island’s unique culture, ceremonies and the warm welcome of the people.
The inaugural flight will be covered by invited Chinese mainstream media, TV channels, radio stations, websites and newspapers aimed at the high end market. Invited media will stay in Bali for a week to explore the many attractions of Bali and surrounding islands.
The flights are expected to generate 30,000 Chinese tourists. According to the National Statistics Bureau of China, each tourist is estimated to spend on average US$3,000, so that the with these new flights Chinese tourists will spend U$ 90 million on the holiday island of Bali and other Indonesian destinations.
