On Wednesday November 20th 2013, the Swatch Women’s World Longboard Championship kicked off at Riyue Bay in Wanning city, and will last until November 24th.

Endowed with the finest surfing conditions in Northeast Asia, Wanning city is valued and commonly visited by many professional international and domestic surfers, successfully hosting the Hainan Wanning International Surfing Festival for three years since 2010.

The 2013 Swatch Women’s World Longboard Championship in Wanning has attracted 120 international and 38 domestic media outlets to cover the event.

The Wanning Municipal Committee, Propaganda Minister Chen Xingzhang, the president of the Swatch Group in China Chen Suzhen, the Event Manager from Association of Surfing Professionals DaneJordan, the champion of the 2012 Swatch Women’s World Longboard Championship Kelia Moniz, famous American surfer Kassia Meador and Chinese surfing athlete Liu Dan all attended the press conference of the 2013 Swatch Women’s World Longboard Championship on November 19th.
