The Hainan government will allocate 6 million yuan this year to fund large exhibitions held in Hainan, according to the commerce department of Hainan province.

Trade fairs with exhibition areas of over 5000 square meters can apply for allowances of up to 1 million yuan.

Officials from the commerce department in Hainan province said trade fairs held in Haikou can send their allowance application to the Haikou Exhibition Bureau, while trade fairs held in other cities in the province can send their allowance application to the trade service office of the local commerce department.

The application deadline is 3rd December.
