Hainan has signed a total of 190 cooperative projects with investment reaching 40 billion yuan in the first 10 months of the year, according to a report from Hainan Daily.

In the first half of the year, the Hainan government hosted a series of investment promotion events in areas including Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin and Zhejiang. 133 projects were signed during the first half of the year, with investment reaching 32.25 billion yuan.

In the second half of the year, the Hainan government launched an investment promotion campaign in the Pearl River Delta. By October, the province had signed 44 cooperative projects with enterprises from Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
