As golf tourism heats up in Hainan during the autumn, the China Southern Airlines Hainan Branch recently announced that it will open regular flights between Haikou and Soul starting from 27th October, part of joint efforts by China Souther Airlines and Hainan government to boost the golf tourism market in South Korean.

Wang Zheng, the general manager of China Southern Airlines Hainan Branch said Hainan is a preferred golfing destination for many tourists from South Korea and Japan. China Southern Airlines will work closely with Hainan government to promote the provnce’s golf tourism in the region.

According to reports, the” 2013 Sky Pearl Club Elite Members Golf Tournament” organized by China Southern Airlines also kicked off in Haikou recently. Over 100 China Southern Airlines Sky Pearl Club members in Hainan participated in the event.

"China Southern Airlines currently have 17 million Sky Pearl Club members. This is a huge resource of golf tourists and will drive Hainan’s golf tourism if we make a good use of the resource”. Wang said.

As one of the provinces who have most beautiful golf courses in the county, Hainan has become a preferred golfing destination not only in China, but also neighboring countries.

Wang further said China Southern Airlines will make continues efforts to attract international and domestic golf tourist to Hainan by providing personalized and tailored services.
