Hainan Commodity Price Control Bureau recently rolled out new measures aimed at regulating the ticket prices at scenic spots across the province during tourism peak seasons.

According to the new regulations, scenic spots in the province are required to implement “peak season ticket prices” each year from 1st October to 30th April of the next year, during which period ticket prices at scenic spots are not allowed to be more than 20 percent higher or lower than the benchmark prices set by the bureau.

Meanwhile, scenic spots are also being required to implement off season ticket prices from 1st May to 30th September every year, during which period scenic spot ticket prices should not be higher than the benchmark prices set by the bureau, but are allowed to be lower than benchmark prices by up to 20%.

According to a price table published by the bureau, the ticket price of Sanya Nanshan Scenic Area is RMB121during tourism peak seasons, while Daxiao Dontian Scenic Area is RMB108, Yanuoda Rain forest Cultural Tourism Area RMB105 and Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area RMB80.
