Helicopters put into service for low-altitude tourism in Hainan
Two helicopters operated by Sanya Yalong General Aviation Company have recently been put into service for low altitude sightseeing tours in Sanya after being authorized by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
The two helicopters, which are Robinson R44 light helicopters manufactured by the Robinson Helicopter Company, can carry 3 passengers at a time and fly to an altitude of over 1,000 meters.
The price for a 10-minute sightseeing tour along the coastline of Sanya bay is 1200RMB/Person.
Gao Xiuyan, the general manager of Sanya Yalong General Aviation Company, said another two helicopters will be put into service soon. A total of 20 helicopters are expected to put into service by the company within the next three years.
Besides sightseeing tours, the helicopters also provide services including transport, self-piloted aerial photography and air weddings, Gao said.
