Hainan Delegation attends 2013 Taipei International Travel Fair
The 2013 Taipei International Travel Fair (Taipei ITF 2013) kicked off on Friday, 18th October, the Hainan Daily reports.
A Hainan delegation led by the Hainan Tourism Development Commission attended the event to promote Hainan tourism.
Taipei International Travel Fair is Asia’s most important travel fair and Taiwan’s largest consolidated display and sales travel expo. The Taipei ITF 2013 will run from October 18 through 21.
With the number of booths reaching 1350, the event has attracted a great number of domestic and foreign exhibitors.
Taiwan is an important tourist market for Hainan province.
According to reports, the number of tourists visiting Hainan from Taiwan reached 56,000 in 2012.
