The 2013 Tour of Hainan is to take place from 20th to 28th October,according to Sanya Cultural & Sports Bureau.

The race consists of 9 stages, of which the Sanya stage will take place from 24th to 25th October.

140 riders from 20 teams including one UCI Pro Team and four UCI Professional Continental Teams will participate in the event.

The event was first held in 2006. It was made a UCI 2.1 race from 2007 and upgraded to category 2.HC in 2009.
