The Preparatory Conference for Global Smart City Summit Forum (GSCS) is to be held from October 15 to 16 at Xinglong Overseas Chinese Tourist Resort in Wanning city, Hainan.

More than 100 government officials and international well-known scholars from urban science research field, as well as nearly 1,000 representatives from more than one hundred Smart City experimental cities & towns and famous enterprises from home and abroad including Microsoft, Neusoft, Huawei, Isoftstone and so on, will gather in Wanning to held a series of consultations on multiple topics, according to the organizers.

Themed “Urban Revolution, Smart Growth”, the conference will feature the National Smart City construction achievement exhibition and the Xinglong Smart Creative Industry Park Investment Promotion Conference.

The Wanning city became one of the first batch of National Smart City experimental cities in January 2013.
