The No.19 severe tropical storm "USAGI" has turned into a severe tropical storm on Wednesday morning. The National Meteorological Center said its center located over the Northwest Pacific which about 1070 kilometers away from north by south of South Cape, Taiwan with 985hPa of air pressure.

 

USAGI will move towards west by north at the speed of 10 kilometers per hour with gaining intensity. Influenced by USAGI, the winds of southeastern sea areas of Taiwan, Bashi Channel will be scale 6-8 over the next few days.

 

Meanwhile, the tropical depression of South China Sea located at the central South China Sea which about 310 kilometers away from south by east of Sanya City, Hainan. It's moving west at the speed of 10 kilometers per hour and approaching to eastern coast of Vietnam. Then it will land on the coast of Vietnam on this night to the morning tomorrow.

 

Because of the tropical depression, most South China Sea, Beibu Gulf, Qiongzhou Strait, coast of Guangdong, eastern coast of Hainan, Taiwan Strait and coast of Fujian will get scale 6-7 winds. Heavy rain to rainstorm even extreme rainstorm will hit Hainan.
