According to the Hainan Price Control Bureau, Sanya will begin enforcing government-set prices for special tourism products in the near future.

The special tourism products cover large-scale performances, yachting, diving, drift rafting, outdoor adventures, water recreation, airspace entertainment, and so on.

According to the regulations on price control management introduced by the Hainan Government, local regional governments on the island are not allowed to set the prices without the authorization of provincial government.
