Hainan Pavilion became the top attraction at the 2013 China Tourism Industry Expo, which kicked off on 5th September.

Covering 180 square meters, the Hainan Pavilion, which features wedding-style decoration, promoted a number of wedding tourism products during the expo, including yacht weddings, cruise weddings and islet weddings, attracting a large number of visitors.

A number of discount coupons from hotels, tourism spots and wedding photography firms in Hainan were offered to visitors during the gathering.

As a tropical island, Hainan, blessed with an excellent ecological environment, is an ideal place for developing wedding tourism.

According to Zhou Anwei, the chief planner of the Hainan Tourism Development Commission, the attendance of the Hainan delegation was targeted at the wedding tourism market of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan region, which is the major wedding tourism market in the country.
