Hainan Island is a long time favourite holiday spot for the Chinese, however the rest of the world is only just becoming aware of this undiscovered slice of paradise. The island is renowned for its year round spring-time weather, resorts and its stunning beaches.

China Southern Airlines recently conducted a famil for a group of Western Australian travel industry representatives, allowing them the chance to bask in the spectacular scenery and multitude of activities this island offers.

“Hainan is something of an undiscovered gem for travellers outside China because it shares the same latitude as Bali, the Maldives, Fiji, Hawaii, Phuket and Miami and offers absolutely wonderful beachside weather,” Paul Lim, China Southern Airlines’ Commercial Manager in Perth, says.

The island is also very accessible for Australians as it is only an hour away from Guangzhou, a hub which offers direct flights to and from Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.

Before everyone else hears about this island, book your next holiday here so you can stretch out in the sun of this beautiful and uninterrupted Chinese island.
