Raffles Hainan, located in Sanya’s Qingshui bay or Clean Water bay, held its opening ceremony on 1st September, marking the official opening of the first Raffles hotel in Hainan, and tenth globally.

The only hotel situated right by a championship golf course in Hainan, the luxury hotel also boasts the largest hotel rooms in the city. There are a total of 299 spacious rooms and suites with balconies overlooking the bay and golf course, and the Hotel also boasts the first Raffles Spa in China, covering around 1400 square meters

"We are proud to announce the opening of a new location for the world’s most advanced and charming hotel brand. At Raffles, we strongly believe that the best service necessitates not only meeting guests’ basic needs, but in ensuring mental relaxation and wellbeing” said Peter French, the president of Raffles Hotels & Resorts, during the opening ceremony.

The hotel group, which was launched in Singapore in 1887, boasts several locations in Asia and the Middle East, and one in Paris. Each of the hotels strives to offer guests authentic, unique and memorable experiences during their stays.

According to reports, the newly opened hotel is offering special deals including “Book two nights, get a third free”, free shuttle services to and from the airport, and free breakfast for guests until 30th November.
