A marketing conference organized by Qixiangling Rain Forest Hot Spring Resort was held on 26th August, with the attendance of representatives from local hotels, golf clubs and tourism enterprises to discuss building the local tourism brand.

Blessed with abundant rainforest resources, fresh air and clear water, Qixiangling plans to build itself into a brand health care tourism destination.

"Many people in cities are suffering from stress. Qixianling is the perfect destination for relaxing. Visitors can not only enjoy hot springs and hiking here, but also healthy meat and vegetables from local farmers.” said Ms.Lin, the general manager of Narada Resort & Spa Qixian Mount.

As the first international brand hotel in Qixiangling, the Hilton Hotel Qixiangling has plans to transform the hotel into a healthcare resort.

"With an average annual temperature of 23℃~25℃, Qixianling boasts high forest coverage, fresh air, and clean water. These advantages will attract a great deal of tourists from Beijing and northern Chinese regions” said Sun Xuecheng, the general manager of Hilton Hotel Qixiangling, which is expected to open for business by the end of the year.

The establishment of the alliance of local resorts was also announced during the conference.

Local government officials have said advertisements will be displayed at airports and bus stations to boost the brand image of Qixiangling healthcare tourism.

The medium- and long-term plans for Qixiangliing health care tourism are also to be issued in the near future.
