Hainan Western Ring HSR to start full-scale construction in Sept.
The full-scale construction of the Hainan Western Ring High-speed Railway is to start in September, according to Hainan land and environment resources departments.
The Hainan Western Ring High-speed Railway, with a total investment of 27.1 billion yuan, runs between Haikou, the capital city of Hainan province, and Sanya, connecting cities and counties including Chenmai, Lingao,Zhanzhou, Changjiang, Dongfang, Ledong and Yacheng.
14 stations will be constructed along the railway, which stretches around 325.7 kilometers.
The whole project is expected to be completed within 4 years.
Land acquisition and demolition work is now well underway and progressing smoothly.
