According to the Taiwan Affairs Office of Baoting County, 5 Taiwanese aboriginal delegations will take part in the 2013 Hainan Qixian Hot-spring Water Festival, which is to be held from August 12th to 14th at Qixian Square and Yanoda scenic spot in Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County, Hainan.

The 5 Taiwan delegations are comprised of 83 invidivuals from Taiwan’s ethnic minorities including the Amis, Tayal and Paiwan.

Menbers of the delegations will actively participate in the opening ceremony and the water carnival during the festival.

In addition, they will visit the Baoting Cross-straits Exchange Base and Baoting Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and attend a series of Cross-straits friendly exchange activities.
