The 23-day 2013 China Hainan Cultural Festival in Canada, along with a variety of other Sino-Canadian Tourism and Cultural Exchanges, is to come into an end on July 12th.

From June 24th to 28th, a Hainan delegation attended the event and held a week of tourism cultural promotion conferences in Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver, improving the reputation of Hainan island in the North American international market.

During the event, the fabulous Hainan Island Photo Exhibition and splendid Hainan Ethnic Style Performance Gala captured the imagination of both natives and Chinese in Canada.

On June 24th in Canada, Hainan General Radio TV Station and Canada Omni Television network signed a cooperation agreement to establish friendly and cooperative relations.

In addition, the opening ceremony of the Hainan Tourism Cultural Promotion Week on July 24th in Ottawa attracted the attendance of a total of 20 international and domestic media, including several of Canada’s major local media such as CBC、CTV and OMNI Television.
