Hainan issues golf passport to the public in July
In order to build Hainan into a golf paradise, Hainan has started issuing Hainan golf passports to domestic and international golfers this July.
According to the official micro blog, the holders of the Hainan golf passport can enjoy waived green fees and other preferential treatment at nearly 30 courses in Hainan from April 1st to October 31st of every year.
The Hainan golf passport uses gravure printing technology and personal information can be printed in the passport. Each passport has a unique code.
In addition, passport holders can have their passports stamped with special commemorative stamps when they play on Hainan’s courses, and they will get various rewards based on the number of stamps they’ve collected.
Hainan island now boasts nearly 60 golf courses and 1,041 holes, and it welcomes up to 2 million golfers every year.
