Haikou Orchid Industrial Park, the first project of improving land consolidation around the Nandu River was officially commenced in Xinpo Town, Haikou on August 15.

 

The project is located between Jiuzhou Town of Qiongshan District and Xinpo Town of Longhua District with a total investment of 930 million yuan. It covers a planning area of 100 hectares (10,000 Mu) with the core area taking up 28.17 hectares (2,817 Mu).

 

Jointly invested by local farmers and government, the project will be built into an orchid demonstration center combining orchid plantation research, orchid logistics processing and ecological leisure & vacation.

 

The projects will be completed in 4 years. Upon completion, the orchid industrial park is expected to generate normal revenue of more than 100 million yuan.
