A 30-person Hainan delegation attended the 2013 Korea World Travel Fair and held a Hainan tourism promotion conference in Seoul and a Hainan tourism forum in Busan from May 29th to June 2nd.

During the 5 days, the delegation promoted the wedding tourism and golf tourism offerings of Hainan Island. Representatives from South Korea’s top 90 travel agencies, 8 major airline companies and 20 media attended the Hainan wedding tourism promotion conference in Seoul.

South Korea has been running chartered flights from Seoul to Sanya since this March, and the number of flights will be increased from 2 to 6 per week starting from July according to the HOTEL & AIR company of Seoul.

At the Hainan tourism forum in Busan, WOORI TOUR travel agency said that chartered flights from Busan to Sanya and Haikou are expected to be launched this October, and that there will be 4 flights each week.
