The 2nd phase of the duty-free shop at Haikou Meilan Airport started its trial operation recently.

At present, the business area of the duty-free shop at Haikou Meilan Airport has increased from 2,000 sqm to 3,700 sqm. The 2nd phase of the duty-free shop stands at 1,500 sqm.

From January to June, the duty-free store at Haikou Meilan Airport had sold 454.000 items with sales of 190 million yuan. The number of tourists purchasing goods at the store reached 176,000.
