Nearly 100 diplomats from 26 countries will gather in Bo’ao, Qionghai City of Hainan Province on May 17-19 for the fifth friendship Diplomat’s Sport Games.

The games, which consist of golf and tennis tournaments with separate divisions for men and women, will allow diplomats to meet in a friendly environment and have fun.

This kind of activity serves as a means of promoting friendship among diplomats and understanding the culture and people while developing diplomatic work here in the country.

The event has been held in Beijing, Zhejiang, Fujian and other provinces for 5 consecutive years since 2009, attracting over 300 diplomats from more than 60 countries.
