Bao Dao No.16  made its maiden voyage commuting between Haikou and Hai’an across the Qiongzhou Strait on 17th July.
 
Bao Dao No.16, a new large luxury ro-ro passenger ship, made its maiden voyage commuting between Haikou and Hai’an across the Qiongzhou Strait on 17th July.

The new ro-ro passenger ship, which costs RMB 80 million, is constructed by the Hainan Strait Shipping Co.,Ltd.

With a full length of 119 meters, a width of 19.8 meters, loading capacity of 972 seats of passengers and 50 vehicle parking lots, Bao Dao No.16 boasts strength of withstanding gale on the 8th wind scale.

 
Meanwhile, different levels of passenger cabins such as ordinary cabin, business cabin and sleeper cabin, along with a leisure café are set up in the ship.

Hainan Strait Shipping Co.,Ltd., which enjoys the largest market share, is the leading enterprise of Hainan’s ro-ro transportation industry. The ro-ro transportation routes ran by the Hainan Starist Shipping Co.,Ltd. include Haikou-Hai’an route, Haikou-Guangzhou route and Haikou-Beihai route.
