The Wanning government plans to build a 60-km-long greenway path in Xinglong, aiming to build the area into a tourism zone.

The whole greenway consists of five road sections with stretches of rainforest and coastal scenery, cultural villages of overseas Chinese returnees, a primitive ecological zone, and Xinglong city center and its scenery towns.

Besides, 8 different themed stations and farm stays will be distributed along the greenway featuring plant gardens, local cuisine, hot springs and coffee to cater to the diverse demands of tourists.

The greenway will allow tourists to enjoy the local tourist attractions like Xinglong South-east Asia Culture Village, Xinglong Tropical Garden, Tropical Rainforest Museum, Xinglong Coffee Factory, Tropical Botanical Garden and Xinglong Medical Herb Garden.

Upon its completion, the government will adopt the all-in-one ticket to allow tourists to appreciate the city’s attractions on their own timetable.
