The ‘Tropical Paradise Cup’ 2012 National Mixed Teams’ Bridge Tournament is being held from July 11th to 14th in Haikou, organizers said on July 10th.

More than 45 teams from across the country including Wang Ping and Wu Shaohong from the China United team are taking part in the four-day competition in teams and pairs.

The tournament will adopt the Swiss format with a total prize fund of 200,000 yuan. The first winner will win 60,000 yuan.

The national bridge tournament has been held for 3 consecutive years, which has greatly boosted its popularity in Hainan.
