Hainan ranks 10th among 27 provinces in tourism revenue during CNY
Hainan has been ranked 10th among 27 provinces in a report on tourism revenues from the Spring Festival.
Revenues for the Hainan travel industry during the Spring Festival reached 5.651 billion yuan, an increase of 32.57% over that of 2012.
The report showed that Guangdong Province ranked 1st among the 27 provinces with a total tourism revenue of 20.7 billion yuan, up 23.2% over that of last year.
Sichuan Province became the most visited province in China during the period, statistics showing that it received 36.738 million visitors.
During the period from Feb 9 to Feb 15, Hainan attracted a total 1,904.800 tourist arrivals.
