Southern Airlines launches We-Chat check-in service during CNY travel rush
Passengers who take China Southern Airlines flights during the Spring Festival now have a new check-in option. The airline launched its in-house developed We-chat mobile check-in service on 30th January.
Instead of dealing with the check-in service at the airport’s check-in counters, passengers can log in to the Wechat site and search the airline’s public username’CS95539’ or scan the QR code with their mobile phones.
Passengers need to provide the required information following the instructions after inputting the number 1. Passengers can then choose their preferred seats and the electronic boarding pass will be sent to their mobile phone. The whole procedure will be conducted in Chinese.
After arriving at the airport, passengers with electronic boarding passes can go to the self-service check-in counters to print their paper boarding pass.
Besides, passengers who depart from Guangdong and Wuhan airport can pass through the security inspection area with their ID cards and electronic boarding passes.
The creation of this tool is part of Southern Airline’s continued efforts to offer the best and most innovative service to their customers, and to revolutionize air travel with advanced technology.
